Billboard (Disposable Pop Revolution)

 Three jangle-y, guitar-driven hook-y power-pop a la rock tracks, Grain USA's Billboard is a fun album that offers plenty of sing-along time as well as beats you can jump up and down with. This is kind of rock band that really gets me going, a band that knows how to run and keep things solid, but also knows the value of pop and wouldn't trade the hooks for anything. The rhythm section keeps things going while the guitar slides into pop mode, serving the hooks with the help of the vocals. The outcome is a solid teaser that makes you crave a full-length to really enjoy. I'll give this a C+.
