 In reviewing the STRUCTURE OF LIES / IRANACH split CD I used the words "blistering" and "in-your-face" to describe S.O.L. The only thing that has changed on the "Abacus" CD is that they are even MORE blistering and MORE in-your-face. In fact they are so in-your-face they punch you right in the nose. So blistering your skin is gonna boil right off your body. Call it grindcore, call it death metal, call it whatever, but this CD is a near perfect blend of harshness, melody, virtuosity, and rage.
