Stand and Fight
Stand and Fight (Bridge 9)

By: Mike SOS

Stand and Fight have two speeds; fast, and really fast. This straight-edge hardcore outfit from Orange County, California display the same venom as old school bands which they idolize and have no problem applying it to today's crumbling society in songs such as "Break the Mold" and the band's trademark tune "Stand and Fight". The end result is a 12-track release (six new songs and Stand and Fight's 2001 demo in one) that gives a windmill and a nod to the forefathers as well as a jarring reminder to all the industry that the straight edge scene doesn't need any substance to make them angry, as the condition of the world is more than enough to keep this troupe upset and singing about it.
