 A well-written collection of experimental, electronica-infused singer-songwriter numbers. Rusty Santos avoids playing into any cliches on Bad Is Good. It is a refreshingly unique take on the singer-songwriter genre, as the lo-fi Santos takes his acoustic songs and beefs them up with not lush pop, but drum machines and other electronica gadgets, helping the songs retain their urgency and intimacy. I'll give it a B-.
