Epica The Phantom Agony (The End Records) By: Jeb Branin
Bleck. EPICA play a post-death brand of atmospheric and symphonic goth metal that often seems to be attempting to re-define the word "tedious". There are some beautiful moments here and even some too-few-and-far-between heavier moments, but all in all most of this album sounds like the band is performing outtakes from a lost Andrew Lloyd Webber production.
