Quiet Games for Hot Weather (Major7 Records)

 Quiet, tranquil rock, the lo-fi of Pinq allows the songs to be rocking - songs you'd imagine to really hit hard live - while keeping them from fading into the background. Quiet Games for Hot Weather is a delicate blend between pop and rock, offering up enough noise to blow off the pop tag, but keeping it melodic (and lo-fi) enough to allow room for the pop tag. However, any way you look at it this is creative, well-written indie music that will give you plenty to feed on. I'll give it a B+.
