 The Higher is a quintet from Las Vegas whose powerful display of pop punk is catchy and bouncy enough for teenage girls to fall in love with them nationwide. Using similar tactics employed by such bands such as Yellowcard and Taking Back Sunday, the carefully constructed twin guitar attack on "Story of Growing Up" and the group chorus on "Midnight" showcase this band of upstarts have got the skills to hold their own amongst the pack.
